16:45 That is it for today. It does not look like the wind is going to show, so the sailors are released for the day. The forecast for tomorrow looks promising, so we will be on the beach for the skippers meeting at 10:00 with a first possible start at 10:30. 16:15 No wind yet here at Jinha Beach, but the sailors have just paid their tributes to the late Alberto Menegatti, who passed away unexpectedly and much too soon earlier this year. Using boards to lay out Menegattis sail number ITA-4 on the beach, the sailors then took a moment and listened as Josh Angulo, Jimmy Diaz and Arnon Dagan spoke a few words about the rising Italian star.

15:30 Other than a spontaneous cocktail shaker show rocking the beach podium, not much happening here unfortunately. Next call in 30 mins, first possible start in 45.

13:45 All sailors have registered and we have just had the skippers meeting. In total 55 men and 19 women have entered the competition. The mens and womens elimination ladders are now up. Though a sea breeze has filled in, the wind is not strong enough to compete. Next announcement will be at 14:00 with a first possible start at 14:30.
